Login to SAPgui after upgrade to SAPgui 7.40 Follow these steps to resolves login issues after upgrade to SAPgui 7.40r3 for Windows: Step one: Manually remove saplogin.ini • Navigate in Windows Explorer to: C: Users[username] AppData Roaming SAP Common • If saplogon.ini exists, delete it. Step two: Check for saplogon.ini from alternate location • Navigate in Windows Explorer to: C: Users[username] AppData Roaming SAP LogonServerConfigCache • If saplogon.ini exists, delete it. Step three: Delete temporary files in Internet Explorer • Follow the menu path Start >> Control Panel >> Internet Options • On the General tab, in the section for Browsing History, Select Delete • Place a check for Temporary Internet Files and website data. • Place a check for cached files. • Click Delete, then click OK. Download and re-run SAPgui installer • Download • Re-run the installer. I would like to know how i can change the default path of saplogon.ini. As our customer is moving to Vista, all users will only have normal rights, thus they can't edit the sapgui config.
